The October 7th launch of the PERA system, including the Grants, Agreements and IACUC modules, have now been active for a month, and all things considered, the implementation has been a huge success. An implementation of this magnitude is not without its challenges, and SPS and the PERA teams have appreciated the patience of the Purdue community as they have worked through many challenges and opportunities.
SPS is currently working on converting our reports and performing the data validations required to ensure accuracy. Converting a $3 billion dollar portfolio and ensuring the integrity of the data is the highest priority and takes time and diligence to do correctly.
The SPS team is currently working on October month-end, which is taking a little longer than expected. SPS has validated at the system-wide, sponsor category level for proposals and awards but are not yet able to report by campus, college, or department. Your continued patience is appreciated as we finalize reconciliations of recurring data and reports that you typically receive from SPS.
